Deep South Island

Roughly anything below the 45th Parallel. Includes my #1 scenic NZ road - Te Anau to Milford, the magic of Stewart Island, the remote rump of Fiordland, Lakes Te Anau, Hauroko, Mavora and Manapouri. All of Southland, the Catlins, the coastal bit of Otago, and the great southern metropolises Dunedin, Invercargill and Gore. I lived in Invercargill from 2002 - 2005 and so got to explore this delightful piece of the nzone.
